Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 July 2026. This policy explains what Simply MBBS (simplymbbs.com) collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Information you send us. If you email or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use it to reply and nothing else.
Comments. If commenting is enabled, we store the comment, the name and email you supply, and your IP address for spam filtering.
Automatic technical data. Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps — for security and troubleshooting.
Analytics. We use analytics software to count visits and see which notes are read. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them to remember your comment details if you leave one, to keep you logged in if you are an editor, and to support analytics and advertising as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

This site may display advertising served by Google and its partners.

How long we keep things

Contact messages are kept while the conversation is useful and then deleted. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up replies make sense. Server logs are rotated by our host on their own schedule.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email admin@simplymbbs.com and we will act within 30 days. Deletion does not extend to anything we are legally required to keep.

Children

This site is aimed at medical students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Notes may link to external references. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
